The body of work of Prashant Trivedi — meditation, music, literature, and Vedic astrology.

Origins
LotusOcean is the body of work created by Founder, Author, Audio-Visual Artist, Filmmaker, and Vedic Guru Prashant Trivedi. It integrates timeless Vedic wisdom with a (w)holistic approach to contemporary life, exploring consciousness, well-being, inner development, harmonious living in relationship with Earth and nature, and conscious nourishment.
These themes move through five connected forms of practice and expression: meditation, music, film, literature, and education. Prashant Trivedi describes this as a (w)holistic approach — one that treats insight as incomplete unless it is embodied through conscious, practical action in everyday life.
Practice
The central practice within LotusOcean is LotusOcean meditation, a contemplative practice developed to support greater presence, centering, self-awareness, and a deepened sense of connectedness. It is practised by groups around the world, both in person and online.
Rather than directing attention inward in isolation, the practice supports an expanded field of awareness in which the individual experiences themselves as part of a larger web of life. Participants often describe a sense of increased calmness and groundedness and a lived experience of belonging within a broader continuum of life.
Sound & Music
Sound and music are another central expression of the LotusOcean journey. Composed and produced by Prashant Trivedi, an extensive catalogue of original compositions is designed not merely for listening but as immersive experience — spanning meditative concerts in natural settings to full-band rock performances and improvisational jams.
Presented as audio-visual coherence experiences, these works aim to support (w)holistic well-being, encourage expanded awareness, and create space for reflection, celebration, and inner transformation.
Literature & Research
LotusOcean also encompasses a growing collection of books exploring consciousness, human development, and practical living, translated into multiple languages and read by audiences across the globe. Titles include P's giTa: Scriptures for the Now.
Beyond LotusOcean, Prashant Trivedi is internationally recognised for his contributions to Vedic Astrology (Jyotish). His landmark work The Book of Nakshatras: A Comprehensive Treatise on the 27 Constellations (2005) is widely credited with reviving the largely forgotten knowledge of the Nakshatras within contemporary Jyotish, and his earlier The Rahu Ketu Experience (2002) is likewise regarded as a significant contribution to the field.
Wider Research
Prashant Trivedi's research also extends to the crop circle phenomenon, which he approaches through the lens of consciousness, sacred geometry, symbolism, and humanity's relationship with intelligence in nature and the wider cosmos. This forms another facet of the broader LotusOcean exploration of our place within a living universe.
Across all of these forms — meditation, music, literature, and research — LotusOcean offers pathways for individuals seeking greater balance, grounding, connection, and a more conscious way of engaging with themselves, each other, and the world.
